MARTY
CANNON,
Board President
Marty has served
on the Hickok Center Board of Directors since
January of 2009. He has served on both the governance and
finance committees since being elected and now is Board
President. He recently moved to
Rochester to become the Senior Manager of Executive Compensation
at Paychex Inc.

ERIK
MATHIS, Vice President
Erik Mathis has served on the
Hickok Center Board of Directors since August 2008
in several capacities including his present position of Vice
President.
He is a sales and marketing executive in the consumer
packaged goods industry, and throughout his career has held the
post of Vice President of Sales, and National Sales Manager for
local distributors and manufactures.
Erik earned his MBA in 2007 from
Medaille
College, and is currently an adjunct
professor in Business and Economics department at Monroe Community College.

SHANNON CRAIG-MULVANEY,
Board Secretary
Shannon Craig-Mulvaney has served
on the Hickok
Center's Board of
Directors since 2005. As a Board member she has previously
held the positions of president, secretary, and chair of the
personnel committee. She is employed at HR Works, Inc. as
the Director of EEO Services, managing affirmative action and
training services. In addition to her human resources
experience, Shannon has
experience in non-profit organizations providing health care and
brain injury services. She has a BS in Psychology from Hartwick College
and a Master's in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

ERIC FREIDA,
Board Member
Eric Freida joined the Hickok Center Board of
Directors in June 2010. He has been working at Grace Community
Services for seven years. While at Grace he started as a
Residential Habilitation Counselor and in 2007 became the
Medicaid Service Coordination Supervisor. He provides
comprehensive case management to individuals with developmental
disabilities. Eric Recently earned his Bachelor Degree in Social
Work from Keuka College. As a student in the Accelerated Studies
for Adults Program (ASAP) at Keuka, Eric provided 419 hours of
service as an intern at the Hickok center during the 2009-2010
school year. After earning his Eagle Scout Award in 1995, he
rejoined Troop 31 as a Committee member and remains actively
involved in that capacity today.

JOHN BULBULIA,
Board Member
John Bulbulia has served
on the Hickok Center Board of Directors since Jan 2009.
He is the President and
CEO of Next Generation Communications, LLC.
John also has his Life
Insurance license through Liberty Mutual.
He earned his degree from
Fairfield
University, School of Business.
Additionally, he is the
current Chairman for the BMW Club racing Genesee Valley Chapter.

CORY LESHER, RPA-C, MBA,
Board Member
Cory Lesher joined the Hickok Center’s board of directors in
March of 2011. He received his Masters degree in Medical Science
as a Physician Assistant from Alderson - Broaddus College in
West Virginia. He has worked as a Physician Assistant (PA) for
12 years in which the last four years he has worked for Saint
Mary's Hospital on the Traumatic Brain Injury Unit, here in
Rochester, NY. Cory graduated in May of 2011 with an MBA from
Kaplan University. Currently he holds an adjunct faculty
position with Rochester Institute of Technology and is a
preceptor for RIT's Physician Assistant program.

MARY ORTOLANI,
Board Member
Mary joined the Hickok Center Board of Directors in November of
2009 and has served on the Quality Assurance Committee for the
past year. She has been employed by the Greece Central School
District as a school psychologist for the past thirteen years.
She earned her BS (with concentrations in psychology,
communication and sociology) and Master's in School Psychology
from Rochester Institute of Technology. As a school
psychologist, she focuses on the multiple intelligences employed
in the learning process. She looks forward to bringing that
knowledge, experience and her advocacy skills to her new duties
as a board member.

ANNA HALL,
Board Member
Anna Hall joined the Hickok Center Board of Directors in
September 2010. She is the Associate Director of The Fund for
RIT at Rochester Institute of Technology. She holds a Masters
degree in Higher Education Administration from Vanderbilt
University and a Bachelors from Loyola University New Orleans.

LISA DURANT-JONES,
Ed.D, CCC-SLP,
Board Member
Dr. Lisa Durant-Jones is Graduate Program Director, Graduate
Advisor, and an Associate Professor of Speech-Language
Pathology. She received an Ed.D. from the University of
Rochester's Warner School. She holds an M.S. in Speech Pathology
from Columbia University and a B.S. in Communication Disorders
from the College of St. Rose. She has over 25 year experience in
medical speech pathology most recently as a speech and language
pathologist at Strong Memorial Hospital. In addition to her
teaching and clinical interests, she has served in a variety of
administrative and supervisory roles, presented at local, state
and national level conferences, and has published several
articles in peer reviewed journals. Her areas of special
interest include dysphasia, aphasia and traumatic brain injury;
her most recent research interest is in the development of
multicultural and interprofessional curricula for
pre-professionals.
