  • While it’s always best to seek a medical professional if you suspect you have a traumatic brain injury, It’s also good to know some common signs of a traumatic brain injury. Some of these signs include, but are not limited to:

    • sensitivity to light or noise

    • dizziness

    • loss of energy

    • headaches

    • vision problems

    • loss of attention

    • problems with memory

    • irritability

    • feeling more emotional

    • disrupted sleep patterns

  • Participants must be 18 or older to attend program.

  • We accept TBI Waiver, NHTD Waiver, and Private Pay.

  • This waiver is money from the Federal Government, given to the New York Department of Health. The purpose of this waiver is to provide funding so individuals with brain injuries may recover in more comfortable settings such as their home or a community center instead of receiving care in an institution such as a hospital or nursing home.

    To qualify, individuals must have Medicaid, be over 18, must meet a level of care needed to enter a nursing home, must choose to live in the community, and must have a traumatic brain injury after the age of 18.

  • This program is funded by the Federal Government to the New York Department of Health for Medicaid-eligible seniors and people with disabilities so that they may receive services that allow them to live in a community versus an institution or nursing home.

    To qualify, individuals must have Medicaid, be over 18, must meet a level of care needed to enter a nursing home, must choose to live in the community, and, if under the age of 65, have a diagnosed physical disability.
